InStyle Shows you how to be fashionably international

I had to share with you my delight with InSTYLE's February 2009 issue. It had a feature on what one should have as part of their international staple wardrobe when visiting certain fashion capitals- a brilliant idea for the fashionably challenged. You know who you are- you are the one who does not know that you should make slight changes to ones wardrobe when visiting various fashion capitals.

Ok, I am being a bit harsh, which i shouldnt be because, believe it or not, I was once unaware that such a fashion protocol existed and because of this I am going to pass on what i was taught by a fashion editor i once worked for, that when travelling one must always remember:
Paris demands a touch class- think Chanel purse, Hermes scarf-,
Milan makes a bit of bling a necessity- think Versace, chunky jewellery and fur coats-,
New York City will prefer that you compliment American classic with European flair- think Ralph Lauren with a touch of Burberry- and lastly
London is all about individuality- think a bit of brick lane vintage trends blended in with Giles.

Lastly, please find the feature I am referring to below for those without the £3.80 to spare (i understand that the credit crunch has meant giving up beloved magazine subscriptions) and also for those who do not subscribe like moi, (with a bit of commentary naturally!!!):
